Designated Drivers
Rule: If you drive and buy, you're a bloody idiot.
A designated driver pays the price of lucidly observing drunken conversation, chauffeuring drunkards home at the end of an evening and perhaps the occasional next-day cleanup of the backseat of his or her car. For this they will have their rounds paid for. Note though that this rule only applies if the designated driver stays under the legal limit.
